Aramco To Approach Investors On Gas Project

Saudi Aramco has begun talks with potential investors for its Jafurah gas development, according to sources.

  • Aramco is seeking investors for the development of midstream and downstream projects at Jafurah.
  • The field is estimated to hold 200tcf of raw gas. Aramco eyes production start in 2025 with an expected output of 2bcf per day by 2030.
  • Gulf States have made ambitious plans expanding their gas output, following the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict that led to a surge in natural gas prices.
