Asia-Pac equity markets failed to build....>

EQUITIES
EQUITIES: Asia-Pac equity markets failed to build on yesterday's rally, with
caution surrounding the events on the Korean peninsula, China's COVID-19 worries
and Sino-Indian tensions providing several instances of localized worry.
- Chinese state media pointed to the potential for looser, liquidity
facilitating measures from the PBoC in the coming weeks/months, but that did
little in the way of providing meaningful support for broader risk appetite.
- That leaves the major regional equity markets little changed to a touch lower
in the main, with e-minis also edging lower. The S&P 500 contract slipped back
below 3,100 briefly, before edging away from worst levels.
- Nikkei 225 -0.9%, Hang Seng unch., CSI 300 -0.2%, ASX 200 +0.2%.
- S&P 500 futures -10, DJIA futures -148, NASDAQ 100 futures -14.
