AUSSIE: AUD has seen a modest bid on the back of the latest Chinese Caixin
m'fing PMI, which printed at 49.9 vs. exp. 48.5 & prev. 48.3.
- AUD/USD last trades at $0.7106, 11 pips higher on the day. AUD bulls continue
to look to the 50-DMA/55-DMA, located at $0.7132/33, ahead of the 21-DMA at
$0.7137.
- AUD/JPY has added 32 pips and last sits at Y79.34. A familiar technical
picture remains in play, with bulls focused on yesterday's high of Y79.47,
followed by the 100-DMA at Y79.80.
- AUD/NZD last seen at NZ$1.0422, unchanged on the day, as the aforementioned
release allowed AUD to catch up with NZD. Bulls look to the 21-DMA at NZ$1.0450
and a break above would bring yesterday's peak at $NZ1.0461 into play.
Conversely, bears initially target Monday's/Tuesday's low of NZ$1.0393/90.
