AUD inching higher still in recent trade.....>

AUSSIE
AUSSIE: AUD inching higher still in recent trade and extending the recovery back
above the $0.69 mark - pair now looks to break and close above the 200-dma for
first time since mid-December.
- Seems to be running counter to equity markets which stay soft and have done
over the past hour or so. Retail sales overnight (0.9% vs. Exp. 0.4%) were the
initial trigger overnight but nothing new to drive prices higher here - likely a
lot of shorts were set across the worst of the bushfire coverage at the
beginning of the week - could be positions being closed ahead of the weekend?
- Lower temperatures and scattered rain forecast across next week in
south-eastern, northern territories.
