AUSSIE: AUD/USD has been underpinned by the uptick in risk appetite, aided by
upbeat comments re: trade matters from U.S. President Trump, although the DXY's
recovery over the last hour and a bit has seen the rate edge back from best
levels.
- AUD/USD 16 pips higher on the day last at $0.7222, from highs of $0.7230,
which coincides with the 100-DMA. A break above would open up the Dec 6 high of
$0.7274. Initial support still located at the 50-DMA, coming in at $0.7187
today.
