AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bond futures unwound their early steepening, despite
booked/impending IG & sovereign supply, with talk of a monstrous bookbuild for
tomorrow's ACGB Dec '30 syndication & the aforementioned trade worries driving
price action.
- YM -0.5, XM +1.0 at typing.
- There was little attention given to the local data points, with the NAB survey
continuing to paint a grim picture, particularly for the labour market, although
the confidence measure did manage to recover from last month's all-time low,
likely aided by some faith in fiscal measures.
- Bills -1 to +1 through the reds.
- The pricing of the ACGB Dec '30 syndication will headline the local docket
tomorrow, with the monthly Westpac consumer confidence reading and outdated Q1
wage price index also due.
