AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie Bonds have stuck to a tight range, largely tracjing US
T-Note futures, ticking away from the SYCOM session highs.
- The RBA's SoMP provided a modest upgrade to the 2018 underlying CPI estimate,
although the remainder of the release was "on message."
- The space also digested the auction of a non-basket 2029 Bond (the first
offering of the line since its initial syndication).
- 3-Year Bond futures trade 1.5 ticks higher at 97.780, while 10-Year Bond
futures trade 3.0 ticks higher at 97.205. Benchmark 3-Year paper yields 2.177%
while 10-Year benchmark paper yields 2.777%. - The domestic 3-/10-Year yield
differential last trades 1.9bp flatter at 59.3bp, reluctant to push on from the
recent highs.
- The white & red bill contracts are unchanged to a tick lower, after 3-Month
BBSW fixed unchanged.
