AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie bonds were range bound in Sydney, with a bias to marginal
bear steepening for most of the Sydney session. YM -0.5, XM -1.5. Bills
unchanged to -1 through the reds.
- Local focus fell on ACGB '29 supply, that perhaps went a little better than
most expected, as well as the COVID-19 situation in Victoria, with 1 death
recorded, the first such instance in Australia in around a month.
- Skilled vacancies data revealed another soft reading. a reminder that the more
timely SEEK job ads have painted a more optimistic picture on the matter.
- No tangible reaction to the RBNZ decision and statement from across the ditch.
- Bills sit unchanged to -1 through the reds.
