from the mid-$0.7930's to a top of $0.7951. Ore prices also aided the move,
Dalian ore futures opened higher and initially extended gains by 3.5%
*Firmer UST yields then encouraged dollar demand, rate was quick to pare gains
and consolidated for the balance of the session
*Short covering in early Europe touched recovery highs of $0.7947 but with lack
of follow through drifted
*Aud/jpy sales added to the risk averse sentiment, rate moved through the Asia
low to hold around the $0.7925 area
*As recovery efforts remained shallow, fresh dollar demand extended the
corrective pullback to $0.7910
*Hourly lows are noted through $0.7908-05, expect demand behind on approach to
$0.7900. Aussie last $0.7915.
