*The European morning witnessed a very quiet session. As cross play dictated,
eur-aud traded either side of A$1.4700 which contained aud-usd to a tight
$0.7967-90 range
*Consolidation remained the theme in early NY with the pair tied to a very
narrow $0.7966-79 range
*Broad based dollar pressure, which traders suggested is month end rebalancing
witnessed the rate grind towards $0.7975.
*Broad based dollar pressure at the 4PM WMR has seen the rate test the intra-day
high of $0.7992.
As the WMR came to a close the rate slipped back towards $0.7975.
*Renewed broad based dollar pressure, as the Dow approached 22,000 witnessed the
rate print a new intra-day high of $0.7994.
*Continued dollar pressure witnessed the rate grind higher ahead of the RBA,
with the rate printing a new intra-day high $0.8002
