AUSSIE SUMMARY: Aussie-dollar: Nov13 close $0.7625, Nov14 Asia range $0.7610-39,
Europe $0.7613-36
*The weak close seen in US markets encouraged initial selling interest into
Asia, Aussie eased lower to $0.7610 before meeting demand
*Strong NAB Business survey data provided fresh appetite to the $0.7635/40 area,
before soft China Retail Sales/IP countered to hold $0.7630 for the balance of
the session
*Aussie-dollar opened flat in Europe, early dealings were initially light tied
to a narrow 10 pip range
*A sharp fall in gold prices of over $6 which traders suggested was CME selling,
pressured the aussie
*Rate touched $0.7613 before support from the Asia low ($0.7610) cushioned falls
*Recoveries off the low in gold with added support from Aud/Jpy pared European
morning losses to hold around the $0.7635/40 area.
