Australian Q2 completed construction work....>

AUSSIE
AUSSIE: Australian Q2 completed construction work missed expectations and
printed at -3.8% Q/Q. The Q1 reading was revised lower to -2.2% Q/Q from -1.9%.
Resultant downtick in AUD/USD countered an earlier uptick driven by a stronger
than expected PBoC fix. Worth highlighting that both swings occurred within a
very tight range, no wider than a handful of pips.
- AUD/USD last seen at $0.6752, virtually unchanged on the day. A familiar
technical picture remains intact. Bears continue to eye the Aug 14 & 23 lows,
which coincide at $0.6736; bulls still target the 23.6% retracement of the
Jul-Aug slide at $0.6773.
