Azerbaijan’s Oil Output Fell 7.9% YoY in 1H23

Azerbaijan pumped 15.2m tons of crude and condensate in the first half of the year, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said.

  • The country produced 16.5m tons of oil a year earlier, the ministry’s archive data show, suggesting a 7.9% decline.
  • Azerbaijan exported 12.7m tons of oil in January-June, down from 13.4mn tons a year earlier according to ministry data.
