Spot USD/THB has crept higher and now operates +0.102 at THB33.075 as the fallout from the war in Ukraine continues to bite. Bulls look for further gains past Jan 31 high of THB33.467, while bears would be pleased by a pullback under Mar 3 low of THB32.417.

  • PM Prayuth chairs the weekly Cabinet meeting today, with recent reports pointing to the government's focus on mitigating the impact of rising oil prices. The Premier has called a meeting of the national energy policy committee for tomorrow to discuss the matter.
  • Focus turns to consumer confidence data from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, due for release tomorrow.
