Belarus' Lukashenko Orders Interior Ministry To End Unrest In Minsk: BelTA

Belarusian state news agency BelTA reporting that President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the interior ministry to end the unrest/protests in the capital Minsk.

  • BelTA also reporting that Lukashenko has said that striking workers at the state media agency will not be allowed to return to work.
  • Lukashenko has also ordered an increase of troop numbers on Belarus' borders in order to 'prevent the entry of fighters and arms'. No indication on whether this troop build up will be on Belarus' Russian or European borders.
