AUSSIE BONDS

Aussie bonds have edged higher, even in the presence of a limited pullback in U.S. Tsys from Thursday peaks, with little by way of notable macro headline drivers observed. Cash ACGBs run 10-19bp richer across the curve, with the belly leading the bid as Sydney participants react to Thursday’s developments. YM is +19.5, a touch above its overnight high, while XM is +15.0, challenging its own overnight peak. Bills run 11 to 25 ticks richer through the reds, bull flattening.

  • A$1.0bn of the ACGB Nov-33 supply is due at the top of the hour, while domestic PPI and private sector credit data will follow (~1hr from now).
