US

14:45 ET 19:45 BST: US President Joe Biden will sign into the law the bill to revive the Second World War era 'lend-lease' programme. The law will allow for expedition of military equipment to Ukraine and passed the House 417-10 last month.

  • Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) on Ukraine and COVID-19 funding: 'Both of these are important issues and both need a vote but they are not and should not be tied together.'
  • Politico: 'There's been little indication of either side caving here. Without either Dems or the GOP giving ground, there's no apparent quick way for the Ukraine aid to hit President Joe Biden's desk.'
