Bintulu LNG Shipments Decline after Outage

Some LNG shipments from the Petronas Bintulu export facility in Malaysia for June delivery will be reschedule after an outage last week, according to Bloomberg sources.

  • Deliveries from the facility were 25% below the previous five year average over the past month according to Kpler data.
  • Petronas had rescheduled some Asian LNG shipments after an outage on May 10 due to a power loss incident with operations fully restored on May 19.
