  • Following hawkish remarks on Oct 6, Bloomberg reports BoC Governor Macklem is now set to appear again tomorrow with remarks to the media released at 4pm (assumed ET).
  • The press conference is seen at part of regular media availability Bank of Canada governors typically give at the IMF meetings.
  • It comes at an interesting time after the strength in today's US CPI, but precedes the key BoC business & consumer surveys plus Senior Dep Gov Rogers speaking (Oct 17) and then Canadian CPI (Oct 19), all before the BoC meeting on Oct 26.
