BOND SUMMARY: Bonds are on the front foot this morning, being led by gilts and
USTs.
- Gilt futures are up 0.27 this morning to 127.39 with Andrea Leadsom, Leader of
the House, suggesting that Meaningful Vote III could still come next week. 2y
yields are down 0.9bp at 0.740% and 10y yields down 1.6bp at 1.171%. CPI came in
a tenth higher than consensus expectations, but core CPI was a tenth lower.
- UST futures are up 0-04+ to 122-28+ with 2y yields down 1.0bp at 2.458% and
10y yields down 1.8bp at 2.594%.
- Bund futures are up 0.10 to 164.06 with 10y Bund yields down 0.2bp at 0.095%
and Schatz yields up 0.2bp at -0.526%.
- European periphery spreads are mixed this morning but all generally within 1bp
of yesterday's close.
