Bonds break through Yesterday's lows

CROSS ASSET

Gilt catches up with Bund and Treasuries on the open, with both futures contracts breaking below yesterday's lows.

  • Support in Gilt is seen around the 94.66, equates to 4.45%.

Given the moves higher in Yields Yesterday, following hawk CB rhetoric and the higher revisions in Growth data out of the US, as well as the IJC beat, the German 10yr followed suit, but remains well short of levels seen last Friday.

Support in Bund is seen at 133.13, which coincide with Yield level.

Today, German 10yr Yield, reference 133.48:

  • 2.450% = 133.16.
  • 2.500% = 132.62.
  • 2.557% = 132.00.

USDJPY bounce off the lows, led by the drop in Govie futures.
