Today’s domestic data doesn’t really move the needle for the RBA, with the theme of robust business confidence remaining evident. This comes alongside continued resolute consumer spending, even in the face of depleted consumer confidence. YM & XM operate a little shy of their respective Sydney highs, still comfortably above yesterday’s settlement levels after paring back from their respective overnight peaks as U.S. Tsys softened during NY hours. Note that neither contract has got close to challenging overnight highs.
