Bostic Comments Pressuring, TYZ1 Through Bear Trigger

US TSYS

The previously flagged comments from Atlanta Fed President Bostic ('21 FOMC voter) made during the NY-Asia crossover has seemingly applied some pressure to Tsy futures, although the lack of cash Tsy trade until London hours owing to a Japanese holiday may be limiting broader activity/the scope of the move. A quick reminder that Bostic became the latest Fed member to point to the potential for a quicker pace of tapering. TYZ1 last at worst levels of the day -0-06+ at 129-25+, with the contract through the bear trigger (Oct 21 low of 129-31), which allows bears to switch focus to the 50% retracement of the Oct '18 to Mar '20 bull cycle (129-03). Broader macro headline flow remains light at best.
