BP Ships First LNG Cargo from Tangguh Train 3 Facility

BP shipped the first LNG cargo from the Tangguh Train 3 gas facility in Indonesia, which was initially scheduled to start commissioning in 2020, operator SKK Migas said in a statement, cited by Bloomberg.

  • The facility’s start up was delayed several times due to construction issues and the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Operations of Train 3 will raise the annual production of the Tanguhh plant by around 50% to 11.4mn tons.
