Brazil is expected to receive record levels of diesel and gasoil from Russia this month – ahead of supply cut pledges in Q1.
- ~10 million bbls of Russian diesel/gasoil are expected into Brazil this month – double Novembers volume according to Kpler figures.
- Russia has become a major diesel supplier to Russia since February when a European import ban on Russian oil products was implemented.
- This has the knock-on effect of muscling out US Gulf refiners from supplying Brazil.
