Brexit Comments Bruise Sterling

CABLE
MNI (London)

Having opened the European session with an underlying buoyant tone rate gets hit by a negative Brexit comment from EU sources suggesting the UK and EU fail to close differences on state aid. Even if EU, UK agree a new trade deal in time , final EU consent would depend on internal market's bill withdrawl. Cable had posted a high of $1.2950 into Europe, dropped to $1.2874 in react, currently around $1.2892. Liquidity remains an issue in sterling, leaves rate open to volatile reactions.
