British Petrol and Diesel Sales Rise

DIESEL

Petrol and diesel sales in Britain rose in the week to 26th June despite high pump prices.

  • Average sales of petrol at sampled stations rose by 2.3% and for diesel rose by 0.7% according to government data.
  • Both prices have hit all-time highs this week according to the RAC with the average petrol price at 191.25p/l and diesel at 199.02p/l.
