Budget now likely as late as March 2021

UK

The UK Budget statement provisionally expected in November 2020 has been cancelled and will now likely take place as late at March 2021, government sources tell MNI. Although no date has been set down, a 'fiscal event' is expected at some point between now and the end of the year. The Office for Budget Responsibility is still expected to lay down its outlook for the forecast period later this calendar year. Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak will address Parliament Thursday, when further details may be forthcoming
