Bull Flattening Momentum Sustained W/W, 10Y Stalls at 9.20

  • Local rates trade softer at the open, following on from mixed risk sentiment out of APAC this morning and higher US Treasury in yesterday's session.
  • 10-30Y yields seen +1.8-2.0bp higher -retracing a portion of yesterday's move lower.
  • 15 & 30Y yields moved below 26 May lows yesterday, but the 10Y failed to break 9.20 and 2Y appears to have broken its uptrend towards 5.00.
  • W/w the bull flattening bias in SAGB's remained intact, but lost momentum somewhat with the 15-30Y section of the curve ending -10bp lower.
