Cabinet Sees No Obstacle For EU to Release Pandemic Aid Funds

  • This morning, Cabinet Minister Gulyas told reporters that he sees no obstacle for EU to release the 7.2bn EUR in grants , and it is up to the EU to decided when it wants to sign off on Hungary's funding.
  • Gulyas added that the government will reassess in June whether to extend price caps.
  • In addition, pensions will rise 3.9pc from July 1 in light of higher than expected inflation.
