* Eur/Gbp: NY range Gbp0.8940-89. Asia open Gbp0.8965, range Gbp0.8959-69.

* Cable tracked Eur/Usd's sharp rally Wednesday to $1.3250(off NY low $1.3214,

Asia $1.3190). Reversed to $1.3221 ahead of close.

* Cable trailed Eur/Usd's more explosive move, took Eur/Gbp up to Gbp0.8989 then

faltered ahead of barrier at Gbp0.9000.

* Cable challenged the $1.3220 early Asia, touched $1.3219 then bounced to

$1.3233 before reversing again.

* Rate pressed to an extended low of $1.3208 before it edged back toward $1.3220

ahead of the European open. 

* Traders reported barrier interest at $1.3250, possibly remains in place. Break

of $1.3255 to expose $1.3280/1.3300.
