FOREX: Cable continued to rise on the back of yesterday's stronger-than-expected
inflation data, the pound racing to $1.3315 (fresh yearly high) from an earlier
low of $1.3278 and was last at $1.3310. The firmer pound encouraged Euro-dollar
to climb higher from $1.1961 to $1.1993 before stalling, last at $1.1982.
Aussie-dollar edged higher from $0.8011 to $0.8039, improved local data and a
rise in ore prices seen underpinning. Aussie was last at $0.8035. Meanwhile,
after making a marginal new high at Y110.28, dollar-yen eased back to Y109.98
and was last at Y110.04.
