CABLE: Cable sits 20 pips or so higher on the day at $1.2655, after briefly
showing above $1.2700 in Asia-Pacific hours Wednesday.
- With GBP remaining Brexit-sensitive, traders have had little to go off over
the holiday period. As a reminder, before Christmas the FT reported that
"Theresa May has cut short her cabinet ministers' Christmas break, summoning
them to a meeting to discuss a no-deal Brexit on January 2."
- Bulls need to clear the December 26 high at $1.2719 & hourly resistance from
December 10 at $1.2720, while initial support is noted at the December 21 low of
$1.2618. - The UK docket is extremely limited this week.
