CAD sits bottom of G10 in the US afternoon...>

CANADA: CAD sits bottom of G10 in the US afternoon with little news behind the
move. Oil is only marginally weaker and Canadian Wholesale Trade data came in
soft, but this isn't normally a market mover.
- USDCAD rallied through C1.31 to C$1.3120 and holds firm at typing. Key
resistance remains at C$1.3144/45 from the Jul 10 & Jul 1 highs, a break opens
the potential of a move towards the Jun 26 high at C$1.3196.
- CADJPY trades back through the 100-dma (Y82.44) & channel base drawn off the
Jun 3 low to Y82.21. A close below opens the next support area at Y82.00/05 from
a series of previous lows.
- NZDCAD improved to C$0.8890, its highest level in six weeks. Key resistance is
seen on approach to the C$0.89 level which holds the 100-dma & Jun 6 high
(C$0.8897/99).
