Cash, Futures Closed on Monday; May Employment Report Headlines Week

A reminder that ACGB's and Australian Rates Futures are closed today due to the observance of an Australian holiday.

  • On Friday cash ACGBs finished ~5bps cheaper across the major benchmarks.
  • Swap rates were a touch higher across 3s, 5s and 10s.
  • Coming up this week; tomorrow we have CBA May Household Spending, Westpac Consumer Confidence and NAB Business Survey. The May Labour Market Report on Thursday headlines with weeks docket, June Consumer Inflation Expectations also cross.
  • There are no RBA speakers scheduled as of yet for the week.
  • Tomorrow we have A$150mn Linker issuance before 70- and 98-Day Bills On Thursday.
