Cash Markets Open In Line with Futures Levels, 2s10s & 5s30s Hit Multi-Month Highs

Little movement in Tsy futures as cash markets open roughly in line with levels indicated by futures (cash markets were closed in Asia hours owing to a Japanese holiday).

  • Yields are 2-6bp higher across the curve, bear steepening.
  • 2s10s hits the highest level seen since January at -23.7bp. Year-to-date highs come in at -15.8bp.
  • 5s30s hits the steepest level seen since February, last ~31bp.
  • Markets continue to digest the attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
  • PredictIt last shows ~67% odds of Trump winning the election vs. 60% late Friday.
