Cautious, Tight Start

The dollar index (DXY) has edged higher alongside CHF as participants have turned slightly cautious amid the absence of notable headline flow in early Asia-Pac hours.

  • The yen has been trapped within yesterday's range, with domestic industrial output & retail sales data shrugged off. The BoJ is preparing to deliver its monetary policy decision and is expected to keep its main policy settings unchanged.
