  • Rising inflation and slowing growth have both served to hit the popularity of Scholz, while Foreign Minister Baerbock and Economy Minister Habeck have each benefited from hard-line public comments regarding Russia's invasion as well as from Green opposition to Chinese firm taking a stake in the port of Hamburg (a controversial project domestically).
