Chevron, Unions Deal Lingers Further After Strikes

Chevron has reneged on the commitment they gave to the Fair Work Commission to incorporate the FWC’s Recommendations into the agreements for the Wheatstone and Gorgon facilities, the Offshore Alliance said via Facebook.

  • The Offshore Alliance have called a Members Meeting at 19:00 Tonight for all members who are on Day Shift or off-facility. There will be a meeting for Night Shift at 15:30 on Friday 6th October.
  • Chevron failed to provide the unions with an agreement that incorporates agreed bargaining outcomes and the recommendations of the FWC, the unions said shortly after strikes ended.
