CHINA PRESS: China and the U.S. may reach a final agreement by end-June, said Hu
Xiaolian, a former deputy governor of the PBOC and now the chairwoman of the
Export-Import Bank of China, at the Boao Forum in southern Hainan province. The
agreement will only be a starting point for the two sides to work on deeper
dividing issues, Hu said. Rather than speculating over a deadline, it's more
important that the two countries continue negotiating over many issues on trade,
market access, IP protection, law structure and SOEs, said Zhu Min, head of the
Tsinghua PBCSF, a finance school affiliated with the PBOC, at the forum.
