CHINA PRESS: China can attract more foreign capital after it abolished previous
quota-based schemes known as QFII and RQFII, Xinhua News Agency reported citing
Zhang Xin, a deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. As
most foreign investors tend to hold the assets for the long term, the increased
participation by foreign capital helps stabilize the yuan and maintain the
balance of international payments, Zhang said according to Xinhua.
