CHINA DATA
MNI (Singapore)
  • China's exports are likely to have seen further solid growth in June, with consensus pointing to a 23.1% y/y gain.
  • Exports were boosted by the order backlog from overseas markets since the outbreak of the pandemic, now recovering on stimulus help.
  • China's import growth remained strong growth in June -- likely to grow by 29.8% y/y due to domestic production needs. Rising raw material costs will also be a considerable factor pushing up imports.
