China Should Build Digital Finance Platform for SME Lending: Paper

China should build a national financial service platform for SMEs with integrated tax, credit and other information that may help them obtain credit approval, the China Securities Journal reported citing Zhang Zhifu, former director of the People’s Bank of China’s Nanchang branch. China will allocate more financial resources to key areas that support SMEs, rural revitalization, technological innovation and green development, the newspaper said citing Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission.
