China’s Commercial Crude Storage Rises on Week

China’s Commercial Crude oil storage capacity utilisation rate was 57.23% as of Dec. 27, according to OilChem, up 0.87 percentage points on the week.

  • China’s commercial crude oil and bitumen mixtures storage capacity utilisation averaged 59.71% as of Dec. 27, up 0.86 percentage points on the week and down 0.87 percentage points on the year.
  • Crude storage capacity utilisation at Shandong’s independent refineries was down 1.04 percentage points on the week to 43.89%.
  • Crude oil arrivals into Shandong’s Teapots totalled 2.52m mt in the week to Dec. 24, up 32.6% on the week.
