China’s July Diesel Exports Rose 153.1% YoY

Chinese diesel exports last months rose to 910,000t, up by 153.1% on the year, with exports so far this year rising by 247.1% year on year to 8.4mn tons according to the General Administration of Customs.

  • Gasoline exports in July rose by 39% on the year to 1.22mn tons. Year-to-date exports increased by 14.7% to 7.39mn tons.
  • Oil products imports last month rose by 177.3% year on year to 4.5mn tons. So far this year, imports increased by 101.9% to 27.01mn tons.
  • Chinese jet fuel imports rose to 10,000tons, a decline of 92.1% year on year in July. Jan-July jet fuel imports declined by 80.8% to 120,000tons.
  • LNG imports in July rose by 24.3% to 5.86mn tons. So far this year, China’s LNG imports increased by 9.3% to 39.24mn tons.
  • Pipeline natural gas imports in July stood at 4.45mn tons, up by 12.4% on the year with year-to-date imports at 27.63mn tons, up by 5.2% year on year.
