ECB VIEW
ECB VIEW: Citi's Havinder Sian says on the release of latest ECB APP data,
markets will be mostly interest in the average maturity of purchases and
purchases compared to country's capital key.
- Sian adds that the ECB will release year ahead redemption schedule but that
"it has given itself a grace period of 3-months to complete any re-investment".
- Question on the make up of purchases and if volumes of the CSPP and CBPP-3
will be maintained at 2017 levels "will not be answered until later" Sian says,
but expects they will, as ECB purchases less government bonds.
- Sian expects purchases of German Bunds to fall 70% from near E11.7bln in 2017
