COLOMBIA: Q2 GDP & June Economic Activity Data, BanRep Economist Survey

  • The key data release today will be Colombia second quarter GDP, which likely rose 2.8% from a year earlier, according to economists surveyed by Bloomberg. Data is expected to be released alongside June economic activity at 1700BST/1200ET. Additionally, the central bank will release its latest survey of economists, where it will be interesting to see whether the consensus adjusts forecasts to incorporate a more aggressive easing pace in September.
