BOE: Comments earlier by BoE's Tenreyro on the bank's inflation target have gone
a little under the radar. Quoted here by Reuters: "Britain could have benefited
from a higher inflation target than the 2% level first set in 2003, though any
change now would carry costs, Bank of England policymaker Silvana Tenreyro said
on Tuesday...BoE officials rarely comment on the appropriateness of the central
bank's 2% inflation target, which is set by the country's finance minister."
