MNI BRIEF: China Sees Progress On EU EV Deal

MNI (BEIJING) - Brussels and Beijing are making progress towards agreement over electric vehicle import tariffs after extensively negotiating a price commitment solution, He Yadong, spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, said on Thursday.

Speaking to reporters, He said consultations were still ongoing, with China hoping to reach a ompromise with the EU in the middle of their respective positions.
