CHINA: Comments from China's Wang Yi point to little in the way of movement re:
the Chinese position on trade with the U.S.
- Wang noted that China wants the U.S. to remove all of the unreasonable
restrictions that it has imposed, while pointing to the losses inflicted on both
sides and the unrealistic nature of a U.S. decoupling from China.
- Wang suggested that the bilateral situation needs to evolve with "wisdom &
conviction" and that China & the U.S. should rally together in the case of any
fresh economic storms.
